Webinar Overview
Local governments can save time and money by “piggybacking” on existing contracts from other public agencies—avoiding lengthy bidding processes while securing competitive pricing. In Washington, this includes statewide contracts through the Department of Enterprise Services (DES) and federal contracts through the General Services Administration (GSA).
Under RCW 39.26.050, local governments may use contracts awarded by DES. Under RCW 39.32.090, they can purchase supplies, materials, and equipment from federal contracts administered by GSA.
This session provides an opportunity for attendees to learn more about the contract portfolios available to local governments from DES and GSA.
