General Information
Webinar Overview
Many communities throughout Washington State and beyond are grappling with a housing supply problem. "Missing Middle Housing (MMH)" provides a wider range of housing options between detached single-family homes and high-density apartment/condo buildings. Developing MMH increases diversity of a community’s housing stock, both in form and relative affordability, while catering to a wide variety of demographic groups, including millennials, empty nesters, and multigenerational households that are looking for smaller homes in walkable neighborhoods. Examples of MMH include duplexes, triplexes, fourplexes, townhomes, cottage housing, courtyard apartments, and live/work units.
